Phenomenal improvisation. spontaneously flowing.. (and well played too.. Source: You tube video by: Widiar)

What we guys down south here in India, don't realize is a peer of this caliber among us, right at our backyard... In my view, Conceptualizing such a harmonic melody with seamless arpeggios is been staple diet of Raaja for decades..

    Actually, I do not have an option to listen to those clips at this moment, however, arpeggio at prelude of Vaanile thein nila aaduthey paaduthey, such a stunning chord progression. I was told that it was played by dilip {arr}, eh? Have a good one!

    @ Hitherto: Just managed to listen to this track.. The only resemblance is some bass notes played in a similar fashion but for which I am yet to notice any similarities..is there any specific part of the Hungarian rhapsody that you would like to single out..?

    @ Saraks: Madhyamavathi based folk songs are Kai vandha Kalai for Raaja.. Songs like "Kuyile Kuyile" (Aan paavam), Methuva Thanthi Adichaane, thanga Nilavukkul etc and ofcourse songs like "Mannaiyum" this are rewarding experience for patient listeners who care to listen to the whole song and not closing their ears after an unassuming pallavi..
